Hi folks,
the release team have finally squished a critical bug[1] As such, all the
ISO's are being re-spun. Hopefully, (famous last words), for the last time.
I know respins this late are a pain, but it is only done for critical
issues, this bug being such an issue.

Hi Lars,
the edubuntu area is a mirror of the lubuntu area. Update the lubuntu area
and it will get pulled in.

I've also created a pastebin link that is set not to expire[1] whilst we

Hi Jose,
from my dim and not reliable memory, cups is not turned on by default with
lubuntu. This was to keep the amount of processes running on 'small'
machines to a minimum. I've cc'd Julien to see if memory is correct or if
it is a bug.

Phill.

I have even better news,

diet, but the release team have also re-spun it.
Hat's off to the people who do care. Please let us know if the alternate is
also CD sized. I know there are other bugs on the system, but getting a
great work guys, it's a shame we got this close to release, but good work.

Jajaja..
all that needs to happen between this email and Thursday afternoon (UTC) is
for the ppc images to be checked! And, if you have chance, please also
check the kubuntu-ppc image, it will not be CD sized. Any of the 'standard'
ppc bugs can be applied to it so they can reference them in their

Speaking of work-arounds, I'll be getting to the Lubuntu PPC Alternat
