This is actually part testing. The developers are trying to get Ubuntu working
on as many hardware units they can acquire, giving Ubuntu more scalability,
hardware wise.
If you are not sure your hardware is compatible, install Ubuntu and test.
Report your findings back to the Ubuntu developers
