I think this is true. I know the first time I got a working ubuntustudio ppc
(which is what I'm after) I installed every desktop I could find along with the
warned-about compiz config tool (exact name escapes me) and the whole thing got
messed up. I couldn't even login. I like the Lubuntu option
Not sure whether this is something I did but I don't think it is. I'm kind
of a long-term novice, new to testing, though.
I had lubuntu up and running on my iBook G4 just fine, and thought that I'd
try installing gnome along side it, because why not.
