I think a lubuntu live-cd for powerpc *SHOULD* have b43legacy support out of the box, but it doesn't. Fortunately, for me, i've a wlanstick (Ralink chip) which works with the livecd. Those who don't would have big problems to install properly. I'm not sure about statistics but i think entire genera
