Thanks, Nio.
It's something I'd like to fix sometime! :D Like the Ubiquity

Hi again Lubuntu developers and testers,
I can confirm Phill's and Henk's results also for the i386 desktop version.
RAM usage in my Toshiba with Intel i5 and Intel graphics (idle after
boot, checked with free -m)
live (only) ... 192 MB
persistent live ... 212 MB, with a few tweaks started
This is great news :-)
I will download and check the i386 version.
Best regards

Confirm that both the lxappearance bug and double applet bug have gone
on the 20151016 iso! Also the black greeter disappeared.
Bug #1434774 (empty terminal window for setting volume control) is left
but will disappear after installing pavucontrol.
Htop shows only 203 MB memory use of an amd64 in
Hi,
I have just 'grabbed' lxappearance-obconf from proposed (I have proposed
enabled on my bare metal machine, but not on testing MVs) I can confirm
that lxappearance no longer crashes. This is a great bug to have gotten rid
of :)
There's no sign of an updated lxpanel in -proposed, I'm currently
Fro the double applet, lxpanel hit the release pocket yesterday. The
next rebuild should include the fix. All the version you installed
doesn't include the fix, so it's normal that you still have the bug.
For the lxappearance crash, it's because all openbox packages

Hi Boss,
in conjunction with wxl's help, he spotted the builds and I added it to my
installation. I still see two icons.
For you to check, the dpkg file is now http://phillw.net/lubuntu15-10.txt
for you to check on, but it does show a new lubuntu-default-session and
-settings has been installed.
Hi,
on the respin 14th Oct, both these bugs are still apparent. I've added

updated, the bugs are both still there
This is the list of what was pulled in by adding and updating the daily ppa

Hi,
can you please add any bug numbers onto
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/IRC%20Meetings/Agenda so that we can cover
them and start to make the release notes up. We only have one more meeting
before 13.10 lands, at this point we need to let the devs know of 'show
stopper' issues.
Thanks,
Phill
Hi,
I tried the current daily build, Jul 19 2013: live, installation and
installed in VBox.
The current Lubuntu Saucy is nice! It has really improved since alpha 1.
Most things work and look good. Also the installation (using 512 MB RAM)
worked without problems.
I found the new Lubuntu QT sessio
Hi folks,
over the weekend I was asked about the handling of a fairly rare bug that
resulted in a core dump. It was marked so private that even the bug-squad
could not view it. (I do love it when it happens at a week end!). So, a
couple of chats, messages left etc. has created an entry for it, and
