Hi Ronnie,
I have not used GdiskDump, I guess from the name that it clones like dd.
And I use dd a lot.

Hi Ronnie,
well, it is so far 1/1 for live-usb-installer after usb-creator-gtk
attempted to eat all the processing time on my machine.
As I managed to install the wrong system (I chose saucy instead of raring),
I'll be playing with it again over the weekend :) Good to know pendrive

Hi,
not something I do too often, but as there are reported issues with
startup-disk-creator (usb-creator / usb-creator-gtk) and I've seen issues
reported with UnetBootin I'd like to share:

Hi Kieth,
if it is the kernel update that has killed it (that was what I was warned
about), you should be able to tell grub to use your last known working one,
which would be faster than a re-install. Else you can re-install from your
last ISO image. For anyone who has run zsync on it since ~ 23rd
Hi Phil,
I misunderstood your original message. I thought you were referring
only to the Live ISO's.
I already had 13.10 installed on my hard drive. I was running it when
I got the chance. I ran Software Update daily to check for updates and
keep it current. That went fine until yesterday
Hi,
the reason I cancelled the PPC testing last weekend is that I had been told
the new kernel *would* kill PPC machines. I offered the advice to grab the
then desktop ISO before it got updated. The work on the kernel is
specifically planned and I will update everyone when I have more news.
