[Lubuntu-qa] [ppc] sound died?

so silverarrow and i are having a problem with sound. we have much different machines, so this may be a universal issue. at least one x86 reporter says they don't have the problem, so it may be universal only to ppc machines. anyways, everyone please check out the bug [1] and relay your results.

it only took turning off 3d acceleration. now we have a new bug [1] to get this incorporated. example xorg.conf included. try it out, johnathan! i will say there is more work to do re: frequency scaling and the battery module wasn't included but at least we have a desktop. the other stuff is i

Hi again wxl, (Ø?) thanks for the suggestion. I tried to launc2h alsamixer -a basic, but nothing. I reinstalled alsa-utils and libasound2 and tried again; and got much the same as you. Somehow I don`t get alsamixer or sound at all though. How do you troubleshoot for this? alsamixer -a basic AL
