the messed up and totally unreadable console screen, the wrong kernel

Hi all,
Is anyone tracking Lubuntu Upgrade Testing? Lubuntu is the only Ubuntu
flavor not listed in the "Product (Upgrade)" section of the ISO Tracker
[1], and I can't find an Upgrade test case anywhere.
I ask because I ran into a bug upgrading from Lubuntu Oneiric to Precise
[2].

I've tried the "Install (entire disk)" test case[1] and although the
installation runs smoothly, the machine won't go past the grey screen
when booting. This is on a mini.[2]
I can still boot from the installation CD and then choose Boot from
First Hardisk. That works.
