I'll be filing a bug report, but the 20120301 Lubuntu precise-alternate-powerpc
iso install complete but boots to command prompt on a 400 MHz G3 iMac. I was
able to boot to the desktop and use the system after modifying
/etc/X11/xorg.conf like I've done so many times in the past

layout on my G4 eMac. The .1 version was supposed to fix that and it did for
me. The install did not get stuck at the Keyboard layout and was able to finish
the install.
However, the installer screens were still
I will be testing the amd64 desktop & alternate isos. i386 desktop if
needed as we get close..

The reason I asked that someone file a new bug report is that I'm somehow not seeing any real problem. Comparing how abiword looks in Ubuntu Precise to Lubuntu Precise the only thing I see is a black border in Lubuntu as compared to a grey border in Ubuntu. I've not seen anything that's difficult t
Hi Lars,
could you update http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/208/builds for
the type of installation you chose (I'm guessing guided) I'm just awaiting
on whether to file the bug against ubiquity or gparted re: extra partitions.

amd64:
1) Entire Disk
2) Auto Resize
3) Manual Partition
Thanks,
Phill.

Not much I can add to the title. After getting the ubiquity and casper updates
into the new image all seems well. I'm very happy with the look of the
installer now.
I requested that those complaining about abiword file a new bug report so we
can deal with that separately. I'm now going to give
fixes and we can still release
lubuntu 20120301 if the respin doesn't get tested or is broken.
