Hi everybody,
In order to make it more convenient to use the advanced OBI level
(introduced in version 1.2), there is now version 2.2.
A. Version 2.0: The underlying operating system is upgraded to Ubuntu
version 13.10
B. Version 2.1: Lubuntu-desktop is installed and tweaked to create a

Good news!

Hi Nio,
that's really good to hear. As I don't often get to cc everyone I'd like to
add little information. I've had a respin of 13.10 made, which we are using
for non-pae. I've got confirmation that the kind guy who made us that
kernel will continue to help, but I've also gotten some one who is p
oops,
sorry -- cross post that one from me is for the non-pae kernel. I'd
blame my splinted up finger, but truth is, watching T.V. :D

Phill.

I have done today my very first pot file, pulled from the STFW docs and tested
with the
Poedit translation editor!
I put it as an attachment.

Hi Phill,
[For the other readers: I tested the first non-pae kernel, and made a
tarball for whoever wishes to test it too:
Lubuntu_13.10oem-oct28-tweaked_nonpae_alpha.tar.xz
Jörn made an iso-file with it.]
Please tell me, when and where there is a new kernel, and I'll test it.
Best regards
Nio
Hi Mélodie,
Nice that you start preparing for local languages in mkusb :-)
There might be a problem though. I am running
LC_ALL=C
LANG=C
in mkusb in order to get a constant format of the output from df, fstab,
parted etc, that are used by mkusb. (And I do the same in the OBI). I
guess it will m
