Hi, folks This is similar to our machtype support for Loongson(arch/mips/loongson/common/machtype.c), which tries to share one kernel image among several machines. this is a light-weight solution, but FDT covers more(which describe the whole machine/platform)[1], we'd better focus on FDT instead.
