Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm unable to find any of the files in my partitions. So now I downloaded the files from the link below and are currently doing a re-install. This is to make sure I have the latest version.. I'll write again as soon as I've tested installing it again. thanks agai

     Ordinarily,  the pmon would try to find the boot.cfg on the first parition of the disk or the boot directory under thefirst parition by turn.you could lanuch an initrd to make sure whether there's  a file named boot.cfg mentioned above.--止语 -- Original -
