So far, in Venezuela, we never ask anyone to do something specific;
Most of the time, there's a list of what has to be done. People come
to the team who's organizing a particular FLOSS event, and tell what
they can do.
Actually, what i think is: Volunteering is about helping in a
particular job ex
I dont want to flame... but sometimes, the problem becomes bigger when
you actually *see* R.M.S. doing this. Then you see the followers, who
only (and mostly) use nonsensical arguments. :/
You can come up with few good facts about why ubuntu is the way it is,
or how things work, and/or tell them h

This idea is excelent!
Months ago, i was speaking with the guys from nicaragua, one fo them
told me about an idea they had (very similar to freenode's), they
actually only book events from .ni and central-america if i'm not
mistaken, but also, they're open to put in events from other countries.
Congratulations!
Welcome to the team! You will do it great... have trust in yourself :D

A similar case happens in Venezuela, there's a council, actually
issues are discussed via mail or irc. Usually on our IRC meetings we
let people attending to vote, those not attending (Even if they're
part of the CC) wont have the right to vote.

In the Venezuela Team, our main problem is that there are two main
FOSS events, the first is the FLISOL and the other one is the CNSL
(Something like a nation wide tour), usually we get shorts of original

idea... since as melissa said, most of the people there (including me)
are idlers... knowing that there's going to be a meeting, people may

Well.. i was somewhat confused too... but i guess i prefer more 32bit cds
than some 64bits cds... its more useful to give a 32bit version which may
work on any machine...

We have a similar situation in the VenezuelaTeam, but most of us (Including
Myself) are active in the FOSS events season within the country (Which are
between Febrary and August)... and sporadically one or another... We have

The Venezuelan Team does almost the same for the wiki, also we're
