The poster looks great, that's a really useful contribution.
If I may be picky, I'd like to suggest a few minor improvements, maybe
somebody with LibreOffice can think about these when they're updating
the details for 6.5.

I haven't tried out a recent version of the live image, so please

When the transition was made from a Sun JDK to an OpenJDK, were there

I already have both of those.
for motif apps also you now need to do a manual install of the
xfonts-100dpi and xfonts-75dpi packages.

You're right, but I still think that the name of the thing is
important. Keeping it consistent isn't that hard. Then people who want
to refer to this great thing aren't in doubt about what it's called.
Alex,
Your spreadsheet lists an ohloh repository for gpsprune.
I've no idea who made this, or why, but it doesn't contain the source
code for gpsprune - for some reason they've added just the images and
the translation files, but none of the source code - hence why ohloh
thinks gpsprune only has 7

Hi,
I've had a quick look at the MapTiler source, and I agree with those who
think it should be _kept_ in osgeo if at all possible. It seems to work
fine, it looks good, seems very useful and is one of those things that's
easy to demo too so it fits extremely well. All credit to Petr and the

If anyone would like to help with this, we now have a wiki page (thanks,
Angelos!)

Anyone is welcome to fill something in in there, giving basic details
and links.
Also if anyone wants to make a start on the docs, the more hands the better!

Hi all,
Around this time in the build cycle I often get asked "what version of
software should we take into the build process?" and I always answer
the same thing - take the default package from the Ubuntu repositories
which you're using for the build. It's just the easiest way for everyone.

Ok, well I haven't got a 10.5 image handy for testing, but I have run through

I really don't think that's going to happen for this version of OSGeo-Live,
given that the deadlines are mere hours away now. I would be happy to dis
Just a quick question: can the en/presentation.rst file (and all the
translations) be deleted now?
It doesn't seem to make much sense to refer to a 2010 blogpost talking about

Also the en/presentation/index.html will need to be updated, presumably deleting
