Thanks for the answer.
I only tried Whitebox with the OpenJDK included in the Live DVD (OpenJDK 7
i presume?), and it did not work. Should have known there was a OpenJDK 8
available.
If I install OpenJDK 8, will it break anything on an OsgeoLive install?

Maybe a dumb question. Would be at all possible to replace the OpenJDK
with Oracle's JDK in order to test Whitebox GAT
