update my drivers ). Anyway, maybe I'll look into the USB
analyzer. Will a virtual one work, or does one need a hardware device?

Update on USB 3 to USB 3. Got the ports
USB3 thumbdrive works on Windows 7 machines.
No docking stations, or extension cables.

Dmesg didn't show errors related to usb, graphics on the other hand had some
issues.
