Thanks for the comments. My team decided that this constituted too much
instability to rely upon BSG for our needs. The major draw back is we were

Could be. Haven't found another inexpensive SCSI adapter.
I say the driver probably needs to get fixed or removed, though. No point in

After diving into it I found that in my qemu-VM case "FATAL: Module
scsi_wait_scan" is not the root cause, because even I backport the
scsi_wait_scan module, it still can't boot, but reports "dracut Warnin
