Hm, the following patch "fixes" the problem:
cd linux/drivers/media/IR
$ diff -urN ir-sysfs.c.orig ir-sysfs.c

It used to work a couple of month ago...
Googling ir_unregister_class doesn't tell me anything.
What have I done wrong?
