you are not the only one, i am running 3.0.8 and 3.0.9 because of
various problems with 3.1 -- will never work and 3.2 -- looks good, but

i can confirm, that hvr900h works with 3.2 to me. it doesnt kill the
whole usb subsystem after two repluggings... however i am not sure if
it is the device or its an another problem, kernel 3.2 doesnt

and lets not forget, we have both found out that it does lock, but that
isnt dvb-s2 because there is no video, so what is it for?

i have played w/ szap-s2 parameters and I got tuning, BUT not a picture
yet, so that only means that it can tune in, as long as i have no
picture and not a usable stream for dvb-s2 again, it means NOTHING.
here the output of:
./szap-s2 -O 20 -C 23 -M 5 -S 1 -r -c ~/.mplayer/channels.conf "arte

hi,
i have a happauge HVR4000 and all works fine, analogue TV and DVB-S was
tested by me so, all would be fine except the fact, that there is
DVB-S2 support noted on the wiki
http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-4000 site.
so basically my question is, what makes you think, that HV
