here is a new patch, that allows you to select the frequency adjustment
code by a module parameter. Default is the old code, so it can't break
anything.

My Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1400 needs sometimes more then only one retry to load
the firmware successfully.

Can you please give me all filenames which are involved with the driver, so
that I can look for the differences between 2.6.33 and 2.6.34? The changes in
the direct driver files are unremarkable.

he current developer kernel 2.6.37-rc1-git7.
Any ideas? Maybe it's a PCIe/ExpressCard related problem? Some more
popular USB sticks use the same chipset.
