Does this classify as breaking the API, and thus require a deprecation period?

The YVU420 and YUV422P formats are broken and cause kernel panic on use.
(YVU420 does not work and sometimes causes "unable to handle paging request"
panic, YUV422P always causes "NULL pointer dereference").
As V4L2 spec says that drivers shouldn't do any in-kernel image format
conversion, just re
Add Nogatech USB MicroCam PAL (NV3001P) and NTSC (NV3000N) support to

PAL version is tested, NTSC untested.

Enabling force_testpattern module parameter in usbvision causes kernel panic.
Things like that does not belong to the kernel anyway so the fix is easy.

I've got a problem since a few days after a system update. I don't know
what was updated exactly, if it was the kernel, udev or lirc. I'm using

I've got a Terratec Cinergy 1400 DVB-T (a cx88 card). Its IR remote

These patches move the uvcvideo.h header file from drivers/media/video/uvc
to include/linux, making the UVC API public. Support for the old API is kept
