It's been over 1 week since I sent this into the reiserfs-devel mailing
list. I'm escalating this as the kernel docs recommend.
I'm still willing to help debug and test a fix for this problem.

Why not get entropy from the white noise that can be obtained from any
attached ADC? Audio cards, some SBCs, and microcontrollers all have
ADCs.
Not that I'm familiar with when the kernel first needs entropy or an
expert in the field.

Often I have several downloads using several apps going at once. Despite
my searching I've failed to find a tool to tune the DL rate. Does the
Linux kernel provide a control in proc or shomwhere? Is there a tool that
I'm overlooking?

Granted, you need something to signify that a file is a dir (remember,
in linux everything is a file), and what the parent dir is.
I'm assuming that the kernel folks decided the name, or at least have
some idea about it.
