I have trouble accessing a CD-ROM via my SCSI Plextor CD, connected
to a Tekram DC390 (AM53C974 driver).
When I try to mount it, I get this error:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/scd0,
or too many mounted file systems
and in the logs:
On an older machine running 2.2.19, I have the following messages at boot

Since I've installed 2.4.0 test13-pre4, I see the following errors
in my log:
sr0: CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.
and xmcd reports:
CD audio: ioctl error on /dev/scd0: cmd=CDROMVOLCTRL errno=95
This was working fine with 2.4.0 test12-pre5, which was the previous
kernel
I had sent the following report a week ago:

My NFS client runs 2.4.3-ac4 (SMP).
My NFS server uses user-land NFS and runs 2.4.3-ac9 (UP).
I've seens the following in my ~/mail/inbox, NFS mounted:
^@^@^@^@^@^@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 1 14:47:02 2001
On the server, the same line reads:
From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 1

The last messages I have on the netconsole are:
hda: lost interrupt
hda: dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0x61
hda: DMA timeout error
After that, the machine no longer responds to pings, the keyboard
is non-responsive (so I could not see what the local console said,

I've stumbled into a problem running 2.6.22.1 on both my NFS client and
my NFS server. I've just upgraded from 2.4.31, so I have no idea whether
this is a new problem or if it is known in the 2.6.x series.
Here's a high-level description of the context:
* The NFS server has a directory which is
