I've found a really convoluted bug in the IrDA stack (spend
the week chasing it). As it is not trivial, I would like you to check
and comment on my description and my fix.
My patch definitely fix the problem on the PC where I was
seeing it, and I can't crash it anymore

The kthread park/unpark facility is not used in the kernel, so
one would assume that it's made for kernel modules. This patch should
definitely help most modules.
