Add my voice to those saying "Thanks, Cort". I'm not sure if everyone is
aware of the amount of work he's done, it's a lot. We were aware of it
because he took a chance on early versions of BK and we worked through
many a late night problem with him; BK is certainly much better because
of Cort &
Cort has put in an enormous amount of time and effort into maintaining
the PowerPC port of Linux over the past 5 or 6 years, and I for one
would like to acknowledge that publicly and thank him for that. It
has not always been an easy task, I know, because there are a wide
range of opinions within
Starting today, Paul Mackerras ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) is taking over as
maintainer of the Linux/PPC 32-bit tree and will continue as the Linux/PPC
64-bit tree maintainer.
The stable and development trees (2.2 and 2.4) will be moving away from
the FSMLabs ftp/rsync/BitKeeper repository to the vger.ke
