i have a Dual-PCU-Board but only one CPU is plugged in.
I've compiled the kernel without SMP.
Now the system runs fine for about 1 Week. After than, it oftens "crashes".
"crashes" is not realy the thing ... diffrent things happen :

i wonder if every ac-XX patch from the 2.4.2 Kernel is included in the new
2.4.3 kernel so that every bug in 2.4.2 has been fixed in 2.4.3 ?

i have a realy strange and annyoing problem here.
I have a very busy webserver. Around 2 weeks ago i upgraded from 2.2.18 to 2.4.2-ac20
(SCSI-System, 512 MB RAM, 3 SCSI-Disks, P-III-500). Everything worked fine, the 2.4x
Kernel
boosted the box a lot :)
But suddenly the box was off

running "top" on a 2.2.18 Kernel showed me the ammount of memory shared.
Now under 2.4.x "top" always displays "0" and i have mountet the tmpfs (if it's needed
for that ?).
Is shared memory gone? Is my "top" to old?! I think i've installed all needed versions
as described in "Changes

yesterday i successfully set up Linux-2.2.18 on a new machine
(Pentium-III-667, D-Link 530TX (via-rhine) network-card, 256MB Ram).
The system is now running for about 1 day, and now i get lot's of these messages :

Now i want to apply Alan Cox patche (linux-2.4.1-ac9), but i always get
