design limitations in the OpenAFS client. If it's not difficult to
support this operation in the in-tree kernel module, I think it would be a
good idea to do so early, since it

readily believe the advice of lawyers on the subject, namely that
enforcement of the copyright is significantly easier in real court if one
entity owns all of the rights.

outside their scope, so I doubt you'll ever be completely successful. But
I think your goal is one that can reap benefits even when only partially
