Is anyone having problems with ACPI causing console problems in kernel
2.4.4 w/ Intel's patches? When watching my system boot over the
serial console, things work fine. When looking at my VAIO-FX140's
LCD, my console no longer updates after ACPI starts initializing _INI methods.

Has anyone had a Rockwell (Context) Winmodem working with kernel
series v2.4.x?
It appears the only module is for kernel v2.2.x. Is there anyway to
get a port to v2.4.x? Anyone ping the company that released the
precompiled binary?
Thanks.

I compiled the Linux kernel v2.4.4 and can't get 'console=ttyS0,115200
console=tty0' to work. This appended line works fine when I boot
into my 2.2.x series kernel.
Anyone have similar problems? Has anyone verified serial console
output works with the 2.4.x kernels? Thanks.

Does anyone know the status of UDF write support?
I would love to start using this, but am unsure on it's reliability.
Thanks.

Hi,
Anyone know where the kernel patches for the DC395U with the Tekram TRM-S1040
chip are?
http://www.garloff.de/ appears to be down.
Will these be included in the 2.4.x kernel tree?
Thanks.

Maybe if you hold down a key at bootup, you can change to verbose output?
