I had mentioned a couple weeks back that with kernel 2.6.10,
the ability to hotplug usb keys in Fedora Core 2 and 3 has been broken.
There is actually a bugzilla report on this with some useful information
on manifestation of the problem

I don't believe that additional change to initscripts could be
the cause because Fedora Core 2 doesn't support udev. Only Fedora
Core 3 implements that feature and there are reports of the same
problem occuring under it with 6.5.10.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet but the new
pre3 changes remove the typedef of urb_t and purb_t
from include/linux/usb.h. This causes alas-drivers
0.9.0rc3 to fail to compile. I wanted to find out
if this removal of urb_t and purb_t was
final or if it would be regressed back in pre4?
