FYI, I found that the problem I was having was caused by the "BIOS Enhanced
Disk Drives" turned on. It was on in previous versions as well, and they
worked ok, so I assume that something has changed. In anycase turning it off
fixed my problem.

dual athlon, with smp enabled
After booting I get the message that "BIOS Data Check Successful" and then it
just sits there.
Has anyone seen this before? Or does anyone have an idea of how to find out
where it's heading south?
