Now I can boot it. I've compiled as Pentium MMX without MTRR support.
The PC is a PIII IDE. Kernel test9-pre5 could'nt boot, compiled as PIII
and with MTTR support.
The kernel run fine here :) (and fast!) :-)

But no luck :( still hangs on "Booting Linux...". I've rpmmed -e
gcc 2.95 from a Suse 6.4 and installed the gcc 2.7.3 from suse 6.3
It compiles fine, so I think there's another problem :)

I cannot boot with 2.4.0-pre8 and pre9-test1. I can with pre7.
.config is nothing special, I've the VIA chipset.
The problem: when I boot, the kernel says (after uncompressing): "Now
booting..." and then it stays there forever :) With pre7 it is fine.
