regarding how long they will support each version of Mandrake with security

Couldn't get it to work the old way using:
Option "XkbLayout" "il"
Option "XkbOptions" "grp:switch,grp:shift_toggle,grp_led:scroll"
and KDE's keyboard applet doesn't work.
