I've got a strange problem in GNOME. For no apparent reason that I can see, the
panel at the bottom of the screen no longer works. WHat I mean is that if I
minimize an application, instead of going to the panel, it disappears. The app
is still working because I can see it if I check w

This may be a hardware problem, and in fact, I solved it by re-booting, but hey
- this is LINUX - we shouldn't have to re-boot to solve problems. So if anyone
can tell me what may have happened and if this is a LINUX or hardware
problem.

Actually we ahd an idea to do it but except 3 people no-one responded and I
don't have enough time to type all the info in the mag :-(

I heard what all of you were saying about security and installed OpenSSL,
OpenSSH, and the OpenSSH Server.
I see now a sshd listening on port 22.
How do I get this all to work now? Is there no configuration? I wish to
connect with my Macintosh Powerbook G3. How do I do it?

HI all, on todays meating the speacker talked about ax25 (internet using
radio)

I was using openssh-1.2.1 for a while and recently switched to
openssh-2.1.1
With the older version of openssh, I could establish connection to my
