That's a freudian slip, obviously. The report on walla is very "cloudy".
Well, basically the report says "there's a security bug in RH linux" and
that was it. Why I'm not surprised again by "quality" report from Israeli
mass-media?
And shame on RH guys, doing classic "passing use
Since the ip_masq_icq module doesn't work with this version, here is
something that might help.
First you must have portfw support in Linux kernel. Once you do, here is a
simple script which on my machine runs from ip-up:

I encountered this page, about hebrew KDE, and I wondered, does it worth
something?
Probably it was already discussed in the group but still...

Well, it was a joke. However, Vim is on its way. I think that writing
MUA in vim macros will be my next hack after writing web server (at
least ws workalike) in awk.

Thanks Ghod.

True. I wonder why Jed doesn't have a newsreader written in

First you must have portfw support in Linux kernel. Once you do, here is a
simple script which on my machine runs from ip-up:

In order to have syntaz highlighting, you need to enable the minor mode
font-lock-mode. This can be done in various ways, by GUI or by command
(M-x font-lock-mode).
Look under options->syntax highlighting for customizable options.

Hi,
Another request for a consumer report (feel free to flame if this is
somehow off-topic - I'll shut up).
In case you don't know, Office Depot and Bezek Ben-Leumi offer
printers at what seem to be great prices. "Great prices" takes into
account the $60+VAT you would pay Bezek BL for a year of
I must be really dense. I downloaded and installed ElMar Hebrew fonts
as described on the IGLU site, I see them in xlsfonts, etc. But I
don't see Hebrew in any web page I try, after setting User-defined
fonts in Netscape's Edit->Appearance->Fonts and View->User-Defined.
Anything I am missing?

Hi,
I thought people on the list might appreciate a pointer.
Since the new taarifs are supposed to kick-in any day now
(2/5/00 or 1/5/00), you can now choose which package you
are interested in directly from Bezeq's site (go to the what's new
section, there is a link there).
It's about damn time
Hi,
Please DO NOT use the form in Bezeq web site!
You need to insert all your details (including your Teudat Zehut) and
the page doesn't have even SSL security.
People - these are your REAL details..
You better call 199 tommorow. Its safer.

Hi
I have 6 Redhat 6.2 CDs (the install CDs, not the source or documentation CDs).
They are CDs presses by Cheapbytes and not CD-Rs.
If you come near to Herzeliya during the day, I can give them away for 10 NIS each.
Please call me at 09-9604817 and not by e-mail, since I don't read it very oft

Uh, that's nice - the details actually get mailed, so even
if they were using SSL it would be usele
Thanks to all who suggest imwheel to run my Trackball with scroll wheels - it

detailed article about installing and using imwheel on about.com.
