Hello! I don't know why it happens, but people don't distinguish between SMTP to POP3. Sendmail is SMTP . it's used for sending and receiving mail to and from the _MAIL SERVER_. Remote users can TAKE their mail remotely using pop3, which is a completely different thing. That's indeed the port 11
