thanks for everyone. i compiled the latest
apache and also compiled the latest php as
a apache module and everything work great.
i have mysql support in the php module and
xml. the only thing i miss is the startup
files that were in /etc/rc.d/init/...

You probably have the AddModule mod_php3.c directive
in httpd.conf while the PHP module (/etc/httpd/modules/libphp3.so)
isn't there. mod_php3.c shouldn't be a real existin
