Hi. I downloaded the 2.4.3 kernel and built it with no problems. I also did a mkinitrd, also with no problems. My /etc/modules.conf contains alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx ( I also tried aic7xxx_old) When I boot with the new kernel, it fails to mount the root file system: request_module[scs
