I did it, and it works perfectly for me. AFAIR I just uninstalled and

I haven't tested it myself, but one suggestion:
Maybe it is a clash between your user config file and the system config?
To check that, add a new user, and login with it. Try to

It seems like the MDK RPMs where not made by MDK and where not adapted to
the distro at all.
