I ordered a computer with an ASUS CUV4x VIA 694X motherboard (having
got good references froma few sources, including LINUX-IL). I got a
phone call from the shop an hour ago, they say that the board is no
longer manufactured (at least not with an ISA slot, which, according

And why does it matter? all voodoo information is available, and the
driver is open source, so there is no problem. In contrast, nVidia

About hardware: DON'T buy Voodoo cards as 3dfx company no longer exists and
it was sold to nVidia (maker of GeForce)
I suggest ATI Rage 128, an excellent card, I use it myself. ASUS motherboar
