No, but I fixed the problem. Was not linux related. Was related to the
Ethernet switches configuration here.

This one has me stomped for the last couple of days. I have a new linux
machine, that works on the local network like crazy, however, every now
and then, for no aparent reason, it loses the default gateway route,
and I get disconnected from the outside network.
All the files are conf
