I use a Dynamode 56K ISA modem. They may still have them. If you have an ISA
slot, it's the safest way to go ... (I also learned the hard way!)

I already saw some linmodem sites (with specifications and all) BUT,
I need a modem (even a hardware one) that I could be bought
from a store here (even if it is in Eilat :) .
