Thanks everybody for responding, I got a lot of good input.
Since the job does not require much Linux skill, anybody who's been using
Linux for a year or so should be competent enough to do it, we settled on
50 NIS to start with, and if the project runs longer than 10 hours we'll
renegotiate.
