Hi Shany,
Basically, you can do this..
I would suggest you take Redhat's SRPM of their kernel and see which
dependencies you need to solve (if I'm not mistaken, you might need to
upgrade some other core libraries) and then you'll need to recompile
your kernel..

standard RH 7.2 - I don't know
non standard RH 7.2 - recompile
