Yes, it DOES solve my "problem", though the fixing had to be done at
Shlomo's (Solomon) place (though pine IS buggy if it let's itself be
disturbed).
Anyway, I am amazed how he could work at all without a valid localtime
file !!!

Somehow this garbage causes my Pine (4.21_heb2.08) to go into a loop
replying to this mail.
While this is for sure also a pine bug, this is even more a bug
