I maybe haven't noticed that but all FTP responces you get
while using a web browser with squid are HTML pages generated by
squid rather than FTP directory listings. For that reason Squid
has a set of icons for different file types and such.
(Ever noticed the squid output differs from a regular
FT
I have SQUID as HTTP Proxy for MS machines, there is no any problem accessing
HTTP/FTP from both IE and Netscape, but until now i did not manage
to connect to ftp using a FTP client like WS-FTP, i have tried all
the proxy definition on the client side...
