Several days ago I asked Upgrade manager to install all available
upgrades for my Kubuntu Desktop.
(regular instalation, stock kernel 2.6.22-14-generic)
disk partitions:
1 /boot
2 swap
3 /
4 Extended
5 /home
It had finished successfully and required the reboot.
