You need to download drvier from their website
http://developer.soundblaster.com/linux/
It's probably binary only in case it's important to you.

Sound Blaster LIVE is not yet fully supported under Linux.
Creative released a binary only driver (which is a module) which gives
you to use the DSP functions (stereo, not AC-3).
