Thanks, but this doesn't do the change globally (system wide).
If that matters, I have found the answer. Edit
/usr/share/config/kdesktoprc and change the section labeled ScreenSaver
and change the enabled to false.

them is KDE.
By default, the KDE desktop starts a screen server after 10 minutes of
