Hi,
I'm running Debian sarge with kernel 2.6.8 .
apm -s sends the computer to sleep, but when it wakes up, i see the screen,
but the hd don't wake up, and the computer crashes.
When i ran redhat 9.0 the suspend worked ok.
Any ideas

when i used an older kernel, i dont remmber which, the poweroff option worked
fine, now it just writes "Power off" in the end of the shutdown\halt procedure

Also check whether the display is currently in LCD + ext. display. You may not
notice it during normal work, but it may stall suspending. (It's a 3 state
toggle

find anyway to get out of it...
