After you read Guido's guides, I recommend to go on with
"Python essential reference" (New Riders publ.). It's an excellent book
to learn from and would be good reference in the long run.

i lately saw refrences to glibc 2.1 in several newsgroups.
afaik , glibc 2.1 was removed as a result of legal conflict.

hi,
i'm interested in getting debian 2.1.
please tell me if you're willing to burn it,
or know a place in israel that sells it.
Thanks,
Moran.
i am using linux kernel 2.2.5.
however, whenever i'm trying to link with libdl.so (-ldl)

Hi,
I've been using the same slackware distribution since 1996.
before that i also used slackware.
My question: what distribution best fits whose needs ?
Thanks,
Moran.
init was compiled, agetty, /etc/*, ld.so, basic
commands
like mount mv cp rm ls)
after i did all the above, I ran lilo and booted into the partition.
the kernel booted OK but it wouldn't find /sbin/init (which was there
with all permissions ok)
Where was i wrong ???
Bye,
Moran Cohen
